Liz and Nick {Married}

From day one... I absolutely adored this family.  We met back on a cold day in February, at the Starbucks here in Keene.   I could tell that this was a great family.  We spent quite a bit of time there that evening... and I'm so happy that we did.

One of the great parts of my job is not only meeting great people, but getting to know them.  I honestly felt like I was welcomed in with open arms.  I can't tell you enough, just how an amazing feeling that is.   And that was just beginning.... they gave me a gift to say thank you. Here is this amazing bride, whose big day has arrived... and she is giving me a gift.   That just says just how thoughtful they are....

Now.. lets get back to the reason for this post.... Liz and Nick.  Their wedding was perfect on so many levels.  Their wedding decor screamed autumn.  Oh how beautiful everything came together.... All the little details were so amazing.... table place cards were fall leaves all with unique pictures of the happy couple.  Each guest received a group of CD's, custom printed and burned with music.  The Ceremony took place at the Nelson Congregational Church, and the day that felt like Fall,  with the leaves just starting to change and the cool crisp air. The reception took place at Marriott here in Keene.  Holly from Naturally Elegant Designs  took care of the florals and decorating the Reception area with fall colored candles, white lights, trees, and silk sashes over the dance floor.  It was the most beautiful scene... and honestly my pictures do not do it justice.

That was just one level.... on how this wedding was perfect... the next was the family and friends.   From the moment I arrived to start my day shooting... I was welcomed with open arms.  Not only from Liz but from her parents and her attendants (which included her brother).  They were all so happy, offered me help, and talked to me like I was a friend.  Truly wonderful they all are!  They too surrounded this couple with love and laughter.

Another level was.... Liz and Nick of Course!!  What a wonderful couple. They compliment each other perfectly.  I loved how emotional they were....all happy tears.  There are nice people.. and their are true... good hearted.. kind people and Liz and Nick are just that.   This couple was simply amazing.  Nick gave Liz a beautiful letter that was presented as... "A message in a bottle."   It brought tears to her eyes... one of many times tears were shed.

The girls got ready in this old, very rustic home that was once a ski lodge.  Oh my... It was ever so quaint.  Again... tied in perfectly with the theme of the wedding.

So.. I could honestly keep going.... and gushing about just how wonderful everybody was... but instead... I will show you some more pictures!

*Please note... Resolution is Much Better When Viewed on a Photographers Website*

Okay... here are a couple getting  ready shots...

 Here are a few from the "Message in the Bottle"

Now here are a few from the Marriott

The picture below truly doesn't give the room justice.

Here are a few from Right Before the Ceremony....

And for the Ceremony!!  There was a point where Liz's Brother (and man of honor!) played the guitar along with their father who also sang.  It was very moving!

And now for the Formals!! The bridal party were a blast!!!  They truly had fun with this!!  (like the picture I posted on my Facebook Page!

And a few more to finish off this Sneak Peek.
The Father/Daughter dance and the Mother/Son Dance!

Liz and Nick... I truly had the most amazing time!  I wish you nothing but the best in the years to come! Thank you so much for having me photograph this special day!
