Sarah & Chris' York ME Wedding!

Being hired to photograph a wedding is no small task... and should never be treated as one.  The engaged couple are trusting you to capture an event so huge (and no.. I"m not referring to size here) , so memorable and so emotional. The images captured will, one day, be showed to their children... then grandchildren... and so on down the line.  This is a huge deal!  I am truly honored every time I am even considered to photograph a wedding, because I know... what these images will mean to the family for  years and generations to come.

My job as a wedding photographer is not only to capture pictures... but to capture emotion.  True, heartfelt emotion, And with Sarah and Chris.... wow... I'm speechless.  I honestly can't say that I have ever seen a couple more in love than these two.  Their emotion was deep, and true.  The way they looked at each other.... speaks so much more than the words I can try to use here to describe it.  From their engagement session to when Chris first saw his bride as she was escorted down the aisle by her father.... brought tears not only to his eyes, but to the eyes of just about every guest there.

The emotion that I witnessed, was not only that of Sarah and Chris', but that of every single guest there... the entire bridal party, the parents of the Groom, parents of the Bride... every single one of them were truly amazing people, and the love that surrounded this couple was overwhelming.

This very simple.. yet elegant wedding was a true sea theme.... and the couples visions of their decor unfolded and came together perfectly!  Take a peek at some of the details of their seaside wedding!!

 The ceremony and the reception took place at the breathtaking Stageneck Inn located in York Harbor Maine.  The Ceremony itself over looked the vast scenic ocean!

And now for the Reception!!! What a fun Reception it was!!  The bridal party.. the family and friends of this couple were amazing!!! So much fun!!!  

What a fun day!!  Could not have asked for a better day... Great weather... Great Venue... Great People and most important.... A couple who loves each other more than words can describe!
